Study
Prof. Jiang graduated from theoretical physics of Northwest University, China in 1987, and earned his Ph.D from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2004. He did his posdoc research in Multi-disciplinary Materials Research Center of Xi'an Jiaotong Universty, China and Department of Chemisty in National Tsinghua University, Taiwan from 2004 to 2006. He have been a member of the Institute of Modern Physics, Northwest University since 2006 and then the superintendent since 2008. He also was the visiting professor of University of Queesland, Australia and the editors of journal Dataset Papers in Atomic and Molecular Physics and Advances in Condensed Matter Physics. Prof. Jiangs main areas of research are phase transition, lattice dynamics, electronic strcuture of defects, symmetry and diffusion of defects, and mechanism of hydrogen storage about shape memory alloys, transition metal oxides, and complex hydrides. He was funded by twice by NSFC, once by the special research fund for the doctoral program of high school, and once by key project of natural science basic reseach of shaanxi province. He has published over 40 papers in Phys. Rev. B, J. Chem. Phys., and Europhys. Lett., etc.
