Study

Prof. Wen visited Oster Institute at the University of Copenhagen funded by Ministry of Education from 1981 to 1983. He became a professor in 1986 and Ph.D supervisor in 1996. Prof. Yu-Bing Wang gained her MS degree in Physics Department of Northwest University. She became a professor in 1995 and Ph.D supervisor in 1999. Their group’s main interest is the develement of the unitary group approach in MRCI and Xi’an CI code. He received Science and Technology Progress Award of Shaanxi Province three times and excellent paper award of Association for Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province. The group has been funded 10 times by NSF( 6 times of general fund, 2 times of sub-topic of key projects, once of sub-topic of 863 project, once of youth fund). The group published one monographs and one translation book. Besides developing Xi’an CI code with proprietary intellectual property rights, the group published over 120 papers in Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., J. Comput. Chem., J. Chem. Phys., J. Phys. Chem. A, etc.
