Prof. Bo-Yu Hou

Prof. Hou obtained M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from Institute of Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1966, became a professor in 1980 and PhD supervisor (selected by the national government) in 1981. His main research interests are theoretical and mathematical physics. He has received 4 national level academic awards and 4 state titles. He has published more than 200 refereed journal papers in the field.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:•Geometric Langland’s Program •String Theory , especially in topological string theories and topological quantum field theory•Gauge field theory, the anomalous and global aspects of quantum gauge field theory   •Classical and quantum integrable systems and their applications•Low-dimensional field and statistical physics models•Infinite dimensional Lie algebras and their quantumizations
