Brief Résumé
Prof. Zhang received his master degree in
Northwest University in 1988 and Ph.D in
Ohio State University in1998. He carried out his posdoc research in Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley national laboratory. Now he is associate research fellow of
Stanfort University, application scientist of Atomistix A / S Company, researcher of NASA's
Ames research center/ELORET company. His research covers many fields, like theory and application of relativistic quantum chemistry, electron-molecule collision, nano hydrogen storage materials, origin of life, etc., and participate in several famous parraller quantum chemistry code. His present research are mainly related to nano materials, electronic transiport of microelectronic devices, and theoretical work about renewable energy. His research has dramatic breakthrough in hydrogen stroage of CNT and
singlet splitting of Organic photovoltaic material. He has above 30 SCI papers published in Nature Chemistry, Physical Review Letters, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Nano Letter etc. international magazine.
