Bingbing Suo, Professor, Ph.D., graduated from the Department of Physics, Northwest University in 1999, and then enrolled in the Institute of Modern Physics, Northwest University to pursue the master's degree from Sep. 1999 to Jul. 2002. From Sep. 1999 to Jul. 2005, Bingbing Suo studied in the Institute of Modern Physics at Northwest University to pursue the PhD degree.From Aug. 2005 to Dec. 2006, Bingbing Suo visited the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at California State University, East Bay, USA. Since Jun. 2007, Bingbing Suo has been working in the Institute of Modern Physics at Northwest University. During this period, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in School of Chemical and Molecular Engineering, and School of Life Sciences, Peking University from Jan. 2010 to Dec. 2011, Jan. 2012 to Dec. 2013, respectively. Currently, he is mainly engaged in the research of multireference electron correlation theory, atomic and molecular excited states and their dynamics, application of high performance computing in quantum chemistry, etc. He is also responsible for the development of quantum chemistry programs Xi'an-CI and BDF (Beijing Density Functional Package). His works were awarded “2018 Shaanxi Science and Technology Award” and “2016 Science and Technology Progress Award of Shaanxi Higher Education Institution”. In recent years, he has participated in 6 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one 863 projects and one major research projects of Ministry of Science and Technology. He has published more than 40 peer review papers in journals such as J. Phy. Chem. Lett, J. Chem. Phy., Phys. Chem. Chem. Phy., J. Phys. Chem. A, etc.
