Yang Tao

Yang Tao, professor and doctoral supervisor, Institute of modern physics, Northwestern University. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Northwest University, China, and PhD from the University of Nottingham, UK. He was Ethel Raybould visiting scholar of the University of Queensland, Australia. He is currently the deputy director of Shaanxi Key Laboratory for Theoretical Physics Frontiers and the deputy director of the Quantum Electronics and Optoelectronics Professional Committee of Shaanxi Electronic Society. He is mainly engaged in the research of ultracold atomic dynamics and strongly correlated systems. He has published more than 40 papers in international peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of High Energy Physics, physical review A, Physical Review B and Journal of physics B. He is the principal investigator over 5 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 major research plan project of basic science in Shaanxi Province. He participated in 1 key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (project leader of Northwest University). He is the core member of Shaanxi Key Scientific and Technological Innovation Team of Quantum Many Body Theory and Quantum Control and Sanqin Scholars Innovation Team of Quantum Physics. He is the reviewer and adjudicator of Journal of Physics B, reviewer of Journal of Physics: condensed matter, scientific reports, Annalen der Physik, and Chinese Physics B.
