学术研究
1987年获得西北大学物理系理论物理专业学士学位，2004年获得西安交通大学材料科学与工程学院材料学工学博士学位。之后在西安交通大学多学科材料研究中心和台湾国立清华大学化学系作博士后研究工作。2006年进入西北大学现代物理研究所工作至今，现任西北大学现代物理研究所所长职务，澳大利亚昆士兰大学访问教授，国际权威期刊Atomic and Molecular Physics 和《凝聚态物理学进展》杂志编委。主要从事形状记忆合金、金属氧化物和配位金属氢化物等材料固体相变、晶格动力学、缺陷电子结构、缺陷对称性和扩散以及储氢材料储氢机理等计算物理和计算材料学领域的教学和科研工作。在形状记忆合金晶格动力学和相变机制以及实现团簇电荷反转等研究领域曾取得重要进展。近五年，先后主持过国家自然科学基金 2 项、高等学校博士学科点专项科研基金 1 项、陕西省自然科学基础研究计划重点项目 1 项；在Phys. Rev. B、Appl. Phys. Lett.、J. Chem. Phys.、Europhys. Lett. 等国际权威期刊发表SCI收录论文四十多篇。
